Royal Mail Click & Drop — Integration with Listock
To connect Royal Mail shipping in Listock, the Click & Drop platform is used. The integration is performed via API and requires an active Click & Drop business account linked to a Royal Mail business account.
This page explains all possible scenarios required to prepare and successfully complete the integration.
General requirements
- An active Click & Drop business account
- Access to the account (owner or user with required permissions)
- One Click & Drop account can be connected to one Listock space
You already use Click & Drop to create shipments or print labels.
What happens during integration:
- No new accounts are created
- Your existing Click & Drop account is connected to Listock
- All shipments created via Listock appear in your Click & Drop account
Next step:

You have never used Royal Mail and do not have a business account or Click & Drop account.
Step 1. Create a Click & Drop business account:
- Go to https://parcel.royalmail.com
- Register as a business user
- Complete company details and confirm your email address
Without a Click & Drop account, the Listock integration cannot be enabled.
Step 2. Connect Click & Drop to Listock
After registration is complete, return to Listock and follow the integration guide:
View the help guide for the Click & Drop API integration.
You already have a Royal Mail business account (contracts, negotiated rates), but Click & Drop has not been set up yet.
Important:
A Royal Mail business account and Click & Drop are separate accounts. Click & Drop is required for integration with Listock.
Step 1. Create Click & Drop and link your business account:
- Go to https://parcel.royalmail.com
- Create a Click & Drop account
- During setup, you will be prompted to link your existing Royal Mail business account
- Complete the Click & Drop activation
Linking the accounts allows you to:
- use your existing Royal Mail business rates;
- keep current contracts and billing unchanged;
- enable API-based integration with Listock.
Step 2. Connect Click & Drop to Listock
Once Click & Drop is active, proceed with the API connection:
View the help guide for the Click & Drop API integration.
How the integration works
- One Click & Drop account is connected to one Listock space
- Listock does not manage your Royal Mail business account
- All rates, contracts, and shipment history remain in Click & Drop (Royal Mail)
Before you start
Before starting the integration, make sure that:
- Your Click & Drop account is active
- You have the required access permissions
- You have identified the scenario that applies to your setup
Once confirmed, you can proceed with the Click & Drop integration in Listock.
